NeoStrata Skin Brightening Gel
This Hydroquinone-free formulation is designed to brighten, exfoliate and smooth discolored skin. This gel is created for patients who have mild discolorations and want a Hydroquinone-free alternative. The formulation includes an AHA/PHA blend to help exfoliate skin, plus brighteners Kojic Acid, Vitamin C, and extracts of natural mulberry, bearberry and licorice root for overall enhanced brightness and smoothness. An in-vitro study found a 72% reduction in color of pigmented cells following application of this product. Fragrance-Free. Formulated with 2% Kojic Acid, 5% blend of Glycolic Acid, Citric Acid and Lactic Acid and 5% Gluconolactone.
Directions: Apply a small amount as a thin layer on the affected area twice daily or as directed by a physician. Daily use of a sunscreen or sun avoidance is recommended with use of this AHA product and for one week after to minimize the risk of sun sensitivity/sunburn.
